Introduction
Artificial Intelligence (AI) is revolutionizing the landscape of structural engineering, transforming it in the same deep ways it is reshaping every other domain of human society. The rapid advancements in AI technologies, such as evolutive intelligence models, deep learning, generative AI, and sophisticated neural network architectures (transformers, RNN, LLM, etc), are pushing to an incredible growth the entire civil engineering. These are not only simply incremental improvements, but more realistically they are a leap beyond traditional methodologies. By enabling more efficient design processes, facilitating predictive maintenance, and enhancing overall structural performance, AI is ushering us into a new era of engineering excellence.
In this contest ARTISTE2025 aims to critically examine the “where,” “how,” and “when” of these transformative changes in structural engineering. By gathering thought leaders, researchers, and industry experts, this conference will delve into the intensity of this shift and its future prospects. We will provide a comprehensive analysis of the current advancements in the field, with the objective of forecasting the developments that will shape the next era of structural engineering—a field whose significance is crucial for the social and economic stability of nations.
A central focus of ARTISTE2025 is to strengthen the interdisciplinary integration of AI in structural engineering, highlighting the immense value it can bring. By harnessing large-scale datasets and leveraging advanced computational power, AI offers automated solutions and generates actionable insights. These capabilities enable engineers to detect anomalies, predict structural failures, and optimize design decisions, resulting in projects that are not only safer but also more resilient and cost-effective.
Join us at ARTISTE2025 International Conference and Summer School dedicated to Artificial Intelligence applications to Structural Engineering field and be part of this groundbreaking events. Let’s chart the course for the future of civil engineering together. ARTISTE2025 is an event mainly promoted by ArtIStE Research Group at Politecnico di Torino University, and organized with the collaboration of important international collaborators.
